Nothing More To Do

Millions of Barack Obama supporters are running around the country like mindless zombies in the aftermath of the General Election.

Pssst. I'll let you in on a little secret. Dems won't rest until filibuster proof Senate is in place. Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Iowa in 2010...Just need a few of them...Hmmmm how did Presidential elections go there this year? LOL! Too bad none of those are in Tennesse...

Be careful, Dave. Remember what the Church does to false prophets...

Mindless zombies?
I don't think so.
It's so sad that Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and their ilk have filled conservative minds with such hate, that y'all can't even appreciate voters who are truly feeling hopeful for the first time in a very long time.

Oh well. I guess someone would have told Sarah Palin that Africa is a continent and not a country had she gotten in. Good thing nothing is going on in the dozens of countries in Africa a VP would need to know about.

She's anti abortion but kills innocent animals and poses with an AK 47 and y'all fall all over yourselves for her.

Now that's mindless.

Sharon;
I like animal meat and AK 47's, and I am not mindless. :)

Read it again. She wasn't talking about your love of animal meat and AK 47's. She was talking about the appeal she had with the Repub base who blindly followed her because of HER love of animal meat and AK 47's. Face it. That knee jerk reaction to base issues is really the only reason she was on the ticket and is one reason no one on the campaign bothered to seriously vet her. Repubs will need to at least show some constraint on those issues if they want to have a shot at the presidency from now on.

Dave -

Touchy liberals...

I thought the piece was funny and fairly accurate. Support of an individual winning candidate does not make one a political savant after the election.

Cheers,

Rob

Dismiss the so called "touchy liberals" at your own party's peril. The last eight years has woken people up (see '06 and '08 elections). Dismissing the majority of the electorate as mindless zombies only because they voted for the other guy and not yours may make you feel better in the short term but will undoubtedly be your party's demise. The reason the majority supported "that one" and turned the majority in Congress over to the Dems the last 2 years is because they decided to think for themselves. You don't have to be a political savant to open your eyes and see this is why Atwater/Rovian tactics worked against McCain in 2000, but not for him in 2008.
