Pettigrew concedes to Campfield

Stacey Campfield reports that his opponent called and conceded the race earlier this evening. It is wonderful that the election is now finally over and we can move on with the business of making Tennessee the best that it can be.

David,
Stacey's win in the 18th District just goes to show, that in the 18th, at least, you can't fix stupid.
Stacey'll be back in the news for doing something stupid - just wait for it.

Steve;
Would you like some cheese...maybe a bit of baked Brie with that, my friend?

David,
I'm not whining, I'm still in shock that the moron was able to con that many people into thinking he's anything but a moron.
I'll get over it soon enough.

Steve;
So he misspells and you don't like his politics. He is no less of a decent human being than your friend Schree Pettigrew. Neither the world nor the 18th District will collapse because Stacey won.

You don't hear me moaning about the Democrat majority in the federal Congress-criticise, sure...but I am neither shocked nor is it worth crying over. We have another election in two years.

Oatney,

I don't care what you think of her, Pettigrew is a class act. We would be lucky to have her in public service.

I didn't say she wasn't a nice lady, I believe the right person won, and I am very proud that he did.
