Ms Ophelia gets a stay from a family friend
Well, Ms. Ophelia got a stay from a federal judge preventing the Senate from expelling her. According to Brian Hornback, there was a conflict of interest involved. The judge, Bernice Donald, was appointed to the bench on the recommendation of Congressman Harold Ford, Sr.Granted a stay by a federal judge who was effectively appointed by your own brother. And here I thought Boss Hogg was a white man!
