Elder Statesmen and Democrats
Some Tennessee Democrats are oh-so-nice to their Elder Statesman:
Doug Henry will continue to be as kind and generous to all of his constituents, even to those who oppose him, as he has always been. Senator Henry is a gentleman and his desire to serve is as genuine as his genteel conduct. All this primary shows is that Democrats just don't appreciate good public servants when they have them.

I seem to recall that the elder statesmen of the Republican Party went after Kent Williams.
Face it, you are a freaking moron. There is nothing wrong with an incumbent facing a primary challenge every now and then. If Doug Henry has been good to his constituents and has represented them well, then he has nothing to worry about. If not, then it's probably time for a change. Same thing with Jim Cooper and with every other elected official. The voters need a choice and sometimes it comes from within the party.
Stop acting like you know what you are talking about - you obviously don't and it's beginning to irritate those of us that do.
