Less Like a Journalist...
Well, we now may have some idea of what the deal of Nashville Hill political reporters, Tom Humphrey, really thinks of bloggers:
When Lynn confronted Humphrey a second time, Lynn claims that Humphrey said "I guess I behaved more like a blogger and less like a journalist."
Well, somebody is going to report findings if it take me weeks to get to the bottom of the truth about just who did and didn't actually endorse A.J. McCall over Susan Lynn. The Dean was apparently supposed to investigate, but he hasn't reported anything either in the paper or on his blog. I'll have more in the days ahead, you can be assured of that.
Tom Humphrey is so much better than that as a reporter...if Susan Lynn's account has any truth to it, shame!

Bloggers ARE NOT journalists.
Journalists are objective and unbiased and report the news.
Bloggers are untrained citizens who just like to share their OPINIONS with others.
While you write better than some journalists, you slant and opine and have a limited perspective.
I like bloggers. I like to check many blog sites, including yours. But, bloggers are not journalists. In fact, many bloggers (not you) are, at best, wanna-be journalists. (i. e. Klienheider)
I agree. Journalists these days are tied to the interests of the people who pay them. You never see a "journalist" challenge a position that is favorable to his employer. Gannett, Scripps-Howard, Murdoch pay their "journalists" to report what each side "says" not to report the "truth". Bloggers on the other hand, do a little research and let you know what the actual facts are.. For example, bloggers were calling BS on the whole "death panel" lies long before the so-called journalists acknowledged that they were lies (Fox News, on the other hand, doggedly sticks to its lies much longer than any other media outlet). So yes, bloggers are not journalists, they actually ferret out the truth.
Bloggers are wrong on the facts as often as they are right.
What we need is a good lawsuit in which a blogger is held liable for his/her writings.
That will separate the bloggers from the journalists.
Our pal Campfield is now facing just such a suit.
Campfield is not a "blogger", he is an "idiot". He's also totally not gay, he's just sexually confused.
The original "reporting" of these "endorsements" was a twitter. Apparently, no one to date is backing up from their original response the either "they didn't know Susan Lynn was running" or "they thought it was to endorse him for another campaign for the house." Until they do, the story is what it is. When and if they do, I'm sure Tom Humphrey will report that as well.
