Paging Ron Ramsey for standby duty while Phil makes us an offer we can't refuse...
Our so-called Governor is being sued. The complainant says his First Amendment Rights were violated...but also that Phil the Shrill is guilty of racketeering, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty.We've not heard the last of this one, folks. We'll have more on it in the days and weeks ahead. In the meantime, we ought to make sure Ron Ramsey is on standby.
If Bredesen is impeached and convicted, Governor Ramsey should award the Volunteer Service Medal to Bill Hobbs and Sharon Cobb.

David,
I wouldn't hold my breath on this going anywhere. Some loon sues the Gov, so what? Loons still try to sue the IRS over the constitutionality of Income taxes.
Steve-
Steve;
But this isn't a matter of loons...
Note that the people who (unknowingly) uncovered these alleged RICO violations are one very conservative man and one very liberal woman. This is a non-partisan effort to expose corruption.
I've read the filing, and "steve" is correct: it's pretty much a loon.
Is this really where we've gotten to-->conservative Republicans trumpeting frivolous lawsuits?
Roger;
While I think you know I have nothing personal against you, I think your "conservatism" is certainly a matter of open question.
