Indeed, it would appear the so-called Patriot act has made mighty strange bed fellows. Who'd have thunk it; the ACLU (God haters) and the Conservative Union together on this or any issue what ever. My late Uncle Elgin, who served in the airforce, was very concerned about the Patriot act. Before he died suddenly of a violent heart attack at age 58, he confided to me in his usual and refreshingly blunt style that it was his fear that the patriot act would turn us all spies upon one another.
PS. Solved problem with listening to your audio blogs. A system restore and a few configuration changes did the trick. Now, when I click on an audio post link, I get the standard warning about opening this file and a choice to either open or save the file. I choose open and it plays in Winamp. PPS. So far as I am concerned, the last truly stable release of Winamp is version 5.8. I know there are more recent releases of it out there; but, the newer versions tend to be quite unstable because I have had quite a few system crashes with it; so, going back to 5.8 has really helped my sanity. PPPS. I hope you find a house there in Noxville. I'll be checking in every day. Also, I'm still looking for a blog site I can actually use and sign up for. Most of them make you type in a set of characters which a sited person can see in a graphical image; but, these characters do not, in any way, show up using screen reader technology. Right now, it would seem there just is no site which is consistently relyable for a blind computer user. I'll just have to keep looking.
Alex is full of it Dave. Audio has viruses? Yeah right. Well, images have viruses too; for that matter. So can any kind of file. Don't fall for Alex's nonsense!!! He just doesn't like sound I guess.
A conservative journal of social, cultural, and ecclesiatical affairs grounded in a realistic Catholic Christian worldview. It is my hope that this site will be a reflection of Christ, the teachings of His Holy Church, and of the basic vision of a Christian social morality.

Don't you know that audio posts have viruses? You should only use text and pictures, because sounds have viruses.
