Interesting concept. Edmund Ruffin committed suicide rather than be a citizen of the United States writing in his suicide note he would "rather be dead than live in a country subjugated by the Yankee race."
So you feel like him do you? You don't want to be a citizen of these United States of America? What is your basis for this? Is it that we have a black President? What could it be?
Do you honestly believe that succession is a viable option for a state in this union? Under what authority would a state be able to do this? Didn't we once go to war to prevent this very thing from happening? If you don't like this country, there are plenty of countries that subscribe to your belief system, i.e. state church (mostly Catholic ones), outlawed abortion, state surveillance of its citizens, etc., etc., etc....
Let's face it, you've become mentally deranged over the Obama presidency. You kept screaming "Bush Derangement Syndrome" every time anyone said anything bad about your boy Bush, but you don't see the same symptoms in your own mirror. It's time for some personal reflection to determine if you need to stay here for the next 8 years - oh, and don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!
Please, please, please, please, please, please, please!
Did I mention that for once I'm totally supportive of Governor Good Hair?!
Given that Texas has thus far seceded from two different countries in order to defend the right of white people to own black people, seceding in order to maintain a low capital gains tax rate would be a substantial improvement.
