Toss-Up Ohio
This week's electoral map is essentially the same as last week's, except that Ohio is now a toss-up:

>Electoral College Prediction Map - Predict the winner of the general election. Use the map to experiment with winning combinations of states. Save your prediction and send it to friends.
Most polls show
Barack Obama with anywhere from a five point to an eight point national lead at this juncture. It is becoming clear that Obama is building momentum. We've seen some pressure over the last couple of weeks that might lead to putting Florida back into the "toss-up" category.
The threat that Ohio Democrats might try to steal the election is very real.
NOTE: I apologize for the short and late entry today. I have been busy with my own election campaign the last few days, especially tonight's White Pine City Council debate.

David,
You might want to add North Carolina, Colorado, and part of Nebraska to the toss-up column. The McCain campaign is sinking fast.

Dude... You're misinformed.
These are the RCP poll averages -
Colorado Obama +4.0
Ohio Obama +4.0
Florida Obama +3.0
Nevada Obama +3.0
Missouri Obama +0.3
Virginia Obama +4.8

BTW ... Virgina is now Blue on the RCP map
By 'steal' do you mean 'show up to vote, with enough machines per the population, especially in afro-am majority precincts’. This Chicago native and former 1960’s radical has an inquiring mind.
Seriously speaking, we are in the turning of an age. This is much like turning the soil over after a bleak winter. It leads to explosively lush growth of creativity across all parts of society. Something good is rapidly approaching on the starboard side of the national starship.
