Obnoxious spin, Oatney. Unless you're making the logical (and offensive) misstep that all "people in Middle America" are poor, then you're misinterpreting Obama's speech. So I'd either have to question you're comprehension of sophisticated political topics, or I'd have to question your ability to present a balanced opinion. Benefit of the doubt, I'll go with the latter, but it's still disappointing.
I have yet to see or understand what is so wrong with what he said.I believe I'm one that he is talking about and yes I am bitter,I just don't wipe my tears with religion,guns or booze.
