Obama has even more ties to Marxist left

First, a Che Guevara flag is found in an Obama office in Texas, and people shrugged it off as an isolated incident.

Obama then gets the endorsement of Nicaraguan Communist leader Daniel Ortega:

Speaking at one of Nicaragua's universities, President Ortega said "It's not to say that there is already a revolution under way in the U.S. ... but yes, they are laying the bases for a revolutionary change". Moreover, the Sandinista leader said after receiving an honorary doctorate, that he has "faith in God and in the North American people, and above all in the youth, that the moment of great change in the U.S. will come and it will act differently, with justice and equality toward all nations."

Ortega also expressed the hope that an Obama presidency would give voice to the aspirations of millions of citizens of Mexico and Central America who have "silently invaded" the US, even though some polls show that Latino voters currently lean towards Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's candidacy.

That sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Ortega seems to suggest that he, Hugo Chavez, and their Marxist/Communist allies view the influx of illegal aliens into this country as a way to move our country toward Communism-and they have placed great hope in Obama.

A former leader in the Marxist terrorist underground group The Weathermen is a former colleague of Obama:

Senator Obama's ties to a former leader of the violent left-wing activist group the Weather Underground are drawing new scrutiny as he battles Senator Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.

As an Illinois state senator in 2001, Mr. Obama accepted a $200 contribution from William Ayers, a founding member of the group that bombed the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon during the 1970s.

Mr. Ayers wrote a memoir, "Fugitive Days," published in 2001, and on the day of the September 11 terrorist attacks, he was quoted by the New York Times as saying: "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough."

He and Mr. Obama served together on the nine-member board of the Woods Fund, a Chicago nonprofit, for three years beginning in 1999, and they have also appeared jointly on two academic panels, one in 1997 and another in 2001. Mr. Ayers, who was never convicted in the Weather Underground bombings, is now a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Now Michelle Obama has just now gotten around to pride in America:

“People in this country are ready for change and hungry for a different kind of politics and … for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”

If this man is the Democratic nominee, he makes John McCain look more palatable by the second.

Hm.

Obama makes McCain look palatable? I can see how you would say that.

But let's be honest and say that these aren't the real reasons. We know what the real reasons are, don't we?

By the way, are you going after the McCarthy Wanna-be Award? Oh yes, let's paint our political enemies as big, fat, red COMMIES! For crying out loud, are we still living in the 1950s or what?

Quite frankly, these attacks are dishonest, poorly constructed logically, and beneath even you, David.

It's also disrespectful to the process. And if you think that reasonable, clear-thinking people are going to buy into this tripe, you're wrong. This is especially true once readers examine the sources that you have used for these stories.

I certainly have no particular love for Obama's campaign nor do I march with him in terms of his ideology. But the man deserves respect and truthful reporting about him.

David,
What Matt said but more. So Obama gets a worthless endorsement from a inconsequential leader who adhears to emperically debunked political ideology and that means Obama's a RED?????????
Come on David! You're smarter than that. You beleive (or at least pretend to) because you want to, you really, really want to find some way to think McCain's OK and you'll do it even if you have to make S**T up or let some radio/blog spin monkey do it for you. All you have to do is repeat it over and over and over until you believe it. And then stand in amazement when others don't believe it because it's all total B**S**T!!!!
I asked you a while ago what ya got?
David, you got S**T and that's all.

Wow. Just wow.

David, you just solidified yourself as a party conservative. Selling out your beliefs, values and soul for the Republican party. Party power and keeping Dems out of the White House have become more important than what's right.

How tragic.

This type of reporting is typical for people who have no problem reducing politics to nothing more than character assassinations. You know... the one who slings the most mud wins.

And were supposed to think that issues matter? Please. Go peddle your rabbit fertilizer to people who want to buy it.

How awful that Ortega hopes the U.S. will return to standing for justice and equality. Why does he hate freedom?

David just remember when you are right you have might and when your opponents have nothing they pound the table and make personal attacks such as previous posts.

David, Fabian, et. al.,
Where to start? Ya'll don't like Hillary and/or Obama. OK, that's cool, it really is. say why, articulate your objections, put them in the market p;lace of public discourse, ... but ... this is all pure, petty B**S**T.
David, remember that when you're right, you have might. But when you're wrong, you're just wrong and all the bloviation to the contrary won't change that. You're ignoring the weapons of facts, and truth and resorting to the weapons of slime and inuendo, the slur and whispered lie. Something I've never seen you do before.
It's sad.

So... someone who liked some bombings supports Obama.

McCain, on the other hand, is supported by people who actually bombed a whole country. In fact he, personally, agrees with those actions.

That makes him more palatable. The bombs fell far away from home, so who cares.

I didnt realize that Obama has "magical powers" to make foreign leaders endorse him. Nice try with your "commie baiting". No wonder you are no longer on the air waves.

Poor David. You have to be a lunatic to think these stretched facts have any basis for concern. Get over the fear. It's poisoning your mind.
