Dems want Tennessee polls open later
The Tennessee Democratic Party has reportedly asked State officials to keep the polls open longer than 7 P.M Central and 8 P.M Eastern because of alleged problems with voting machines and mechanisms. As Gene Patterson reports, there have been some minor problems in East Tennessee today, but nothing that has interrupted the normal process and progress of voting. I think this is an old story AP and other media are reporting that the Tennessee Democratic Party will not file suit.
I never said they would file suit...but they did ask for the polls to remain open-they did not.
