Chaput: "Catholics for Obama" Have Mistaken Reasoning

His Grace Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver (who once worked on Bobby Kennedy's presidential campaign) won't be supporting Barack Obama, unlike people in a so-called "Catholic" group of Obama supporters who recently quoted him to attempt to justify their wrong-headed position.

The Archbishop doesn't seem to think the rest of us Catholics should give support to Obama, either. From the experience of having "been there and done that," Archbishop Chaput explains why people who think like Obama cannot be trusted to rightly protect human life from conception.

Check out Archbishop Chaput's web column.

If Life was only about the right to Life/The right to choose Chaput might have something. But this issue is such a small part of what the majority of Americans care about, his displeasure comes off more as an elderly aunt who disapproves of the actions of nephews and neices. It might be time for the Catholic Church to upgrade it's policy file. But as usual, it will continue to push ancient agendas that have no real place in the 21st century.

Preserve the Constitution. America Haters. Bleeding Heart Liberal.

Right. Are you reading from the "Freeper book of sharp and witty comebacks" when you write this stuff? Or do you have something worth saying and are just too lazy to entertain an original thought?

And yes, you keep mouthing tired old buzz words like these, you are indeed a wannabe conservative.

LMAO Buzz words. Glad you consider them buzz words when in fact they are the truth and what nearly 70% of America thinks needs to be done as far as laziness I can assure you that only applies to the welfare receiving base of the libs.

Fab.

Fab - They are buzzwords when used as you used them. Meant to evoke some kind of emotional response from me or nods of approval from your other locked in step brethren. The same thing can be said for the from the hip words the Left flings at you.

There are people on both sides who have no interest in dialog and apparently you are one of them. So go ahead preach to the choir. Hold any thought or idea not found in your own stash in contempt. It is minds like yours that caused me to leave the Republican party 28 years ago. And since the Democratic Party is not any higher on the political food chain IMO, I have no use for them either. I prefer to think for myself. No one party has the answer.

If one or the other candidate is expected to win, convincing Independents like me is key. So far, you are not doing a "fab" job.
