OH Lordy you should have had me on this show for a counterpoint, not to mention a few facts!

Okee dokee. First, regarding Justin Timberlake, he is from Millington,TN, and Ophelia is not is Senator! Second, his mother still lives there.
Third, his grandfather is a Baptist minister and Justin considers himself to be a Christian. Fourth, he brings a lot to the economy in West Tennessee when he does Good Morning America and other national shows there, not to mention a ton of charity work in the area.
For the above reasons, he should have been honored.
Fifth, his new cd is nothing at all like gansta rap. Nothing. I am guessing you haven't listened to it. "Sexy Back" is a totally fabulous song that does indeed drop the "f" bomb, but that is as risky as it gets. (Okay--a quick mention of some whips if he misbehaves. What's a little S&M between friends?) I digress...

Regarding Al Gore, his service to his country is undeniable. You may not agree with his politics, but he has served his country honorably.
Of course him home State should honor him. I heart Al Gore. I wish he'd run for President.

Anyhow, I've got to start listening to all of your shows to set the record straight! Heh!

PS
I left out basketball. I have UCLA and Ohio in my ESPN bracket final game.

Honoring someone who drops the F-bomb in songs is not appropriate. If Justin considers himself to be a Christian, it would be wise to clean up his music a bit, don't you think?

I wonder what his grandfather thinks of "Sexy Back."

As opposed to our Vice President who said Go f*** yourself on the Senate floor?
Kind of a double standard, there.
That being said, saying f***is not the worst thing in the world.

Now, the important stuff, like I picked UCLA and Ohio and I am on fire now with my ESPN bracket! (I have both teams in the final, with Ohio winning 85-79)

Sharon;
I'm not exactly a big fan of Cheney, remember?

If North Carolina and Florida win this afternoon, I will have successfully picked three of the Final Four-the exception would be UCLA!

Ouch. NC choked! They didn't score in overtime until the last 7 seconds!

I have three of the four in my bracket: Florida,UCLA and Ohio with UCLA and Ohio advancing to the final.
